Welcome Aboard

It is my honor and pleasure to welcome you to Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Oak Harbor, Washington!  You are joining an outstanding team that is committed to our mission of readiness, quality, and health for forces and family; you are integral to our success.

Naval Health Clinic Oak Harbor (NHCOH) has an outstanding fleet and patient-centered medical homeport and an external resource sharing agreement with a local hospital for surgical care.  We currently serve a beneficiary population of approximately 8,000 active duty personnel, with 8,500 family members, and 4,000 retirees and their families.

Whidbey Island offers a wide variety of activities and attractions.  People come to Whidbey to enjoy the shoreline and magnificent views.  Visitors can see the Cascade and Olympic Mountains, sail from the harbor to the San Juan Islands, and bike or hike along our waterfront to scenic Deception Pass Bridge or Fort Casey State Park, all in an area with a history rich in Native American culture.

Relocating to a new area can be a stressful time, help and information can be found 24/7 on the “MyNavy Family” mobile application.  MyNavy Family mobile application is available for download to Apple iOS and Google Android mobile devices at https://www.applocker.navy.mil.  The application connects Navy families to information and resources to help them navigate the complexities of the Navy lifestyle.  The application offers several features, including Military Installation Search, MyNavy Career Center, Emergency Contacts and Calendar.

If you have any questions about housing in the area, please follow the link below for contact information and a housing application:
