Employment Assistance
The Fleet & Family Support Center's (FFSC) employment opportunities and educational resources are for active duty, their families, and retirees. FFSC offers the use of computers, fax machines, and copiers. This technology allows quick access to employer files, employment publications, job searches, resource books, and a wide variety of classes, seminars, and workshops. EDD Assistance
A counselor from the California Employment Development Department (EDD) is on site at Naval Base Coronado (Mondays and Fridays) and at Naval Base San Diego (Thursdays). The EDD counselor will assist with skills assessment, goal-setting, unemployment compensation information, and provide referrals to local employers. To schedule, call pager number (619) 969-6402.
