Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton offers child watch services for patients in Austin’s Playroom, located on the second floor beside the Family Medicine Department.This service was added to ease parent’s visits by allowing children to stay in the room for up to an hour, during appointments.
To use this service, please check in at the clinic before dropping your child(ren) off and inform the clinic that you are waiting in the playroom.  In addition please notify staff if you need to change clinics during the appointment.
There is a minimum age of 6 weeks old and your child must be clothed with socks and/or shoes. Child(ren) may be turned away if they show any signs of illness or do not have a current shot record.
Austin’s Playroom is staffed by the Armed Services YMCA and is open Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. They will be closed for lunch each day from 12 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
