Cheatham Annex Access - CAC Card or Visitor Pass Required
The Navy Expeditionary Medical Support Command (NEMSCOM) is a tenant command on Cheatham Annex,
and visitors must have a valid DOD issued Common Access Card (CAC) in order to gain access
through the front gate on Cheatham Annex. Sponsored visitors who do not have a CAC should
first go to the Pass & ID Office at the Naval Weapons Station Yorktown.
Vehicles - Vehicles must also have a valid DOD sticker to access the base. Temporary vehicle
passes are required for all others. The Pass & ID Office at the Naval Weapons Station Yorktown
will require you to show a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration
or rental agreement.
Pass & ID
The Pass & ID Office (757-887-7338) is located at 101 Longfellow Road in Yorktown, VA and is the first
building on the left just prior to entering Gate 3 of Naval Weapons Station Yorktown. The Pass & ID Office
hours are from 6:45 a.m. till 4:45 p.m. every day. Sponsored visitors should be prepared to show
a government issued identification card; for example, driver's license.
