What Does Deployment Health Do?
Periodic Health Assessments or Birth Month Recalls are provided as same day app0intments in this department. During this annual visit, active duty members will complete needed immunizations, audiograms, dental, and laboratory studies. Also, the member's record will be screened the day before the appointment for deficiencies and medical records updates.
Deployment health related screenings, i.e., Overseas Screening/Transfer, Individual Augmentee, or Global Service Assignment Screenings PLEASE CALL 817-782-5962. An active duty member in need of any screening should have orders in hand. Those for transfer screenings should have the appropriate Transfer Memorandums from their command. During this visit the member will be directed to dental services, laboratory studies, immunizations, and occupational health studies as required.
Miscellaneous requirements such as dog tags and IMR (individual medical readiness) reports are given out as required by MRRS.
