The Dental Clinic is a modern facility updated in 1998 with 23 fully equipped dental operatories and services include dental hygiene, prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, and minor oral surgery, as well as in-house Dental Laboratory for the fabrication of prosthetics.
The full spectrum of comprehensive and general dentistry services, as well as, hygiene cleanings are provided to over 8,000 active duty personnel from 42 tenant commands within the catchment area. Dental specialties available include endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, operative dentistry, and oral surgery.
Because of the overwhelming demand for dental care for the active duty population, routine dental care cannot be provided for non-active duty beneficiaries. Active duty members are strongly encouraged to enroll their family members in the TRICARE Family Member Dental Plan (United Concordia) to ensure they get the dental care to which they are entitled. |
