Saturday:  9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Please do not bring anyone into the hospital whom you suspect may have chicken pox, measles, or other communicable disease.  Please notify the main patient check-in desk located near the main entrance of the hospital after the Information Desk prior to bringing in the patient.  If possible, call ahead to Clinic so they may prepare for the patient.

Scope of Care:

The Medical Home Port Team is the ambulatory care clinic of Naval Hospital Oak Harbor. We provide patient centered care to active duty, retirees, and eligible family members who are TRICARE Prime enrollees from newborn to geriatric. These services range from routine visits, health maintenance, Obstetric outpatient services, minor surgical procedures, pediatric counseling, patient education, and services for selected specialty care areas. Urgent and emergent pediatric consultations are available upon direct provider referral. In addition, referrals are also provided for specialty care services not available in the facility.

Interpretive services are available.  Please inform your Medical Home Port team of your language and cultural needs.

Patients may contact the provider-on-call for advice prior to seeking care in the Emergency Room or the Urgent Care Clinic and when the Urgent Care Clinic is closed by contacting the Quarterdeck at (360) 257-9501.  Currently available 24 hours a day is our nurse advice line which can be reached at: (360) 257-9500.  You can also make appointments online at:

Please arrive with your military issued identification and TRICARE cards so you may be properly checked in for your appointment.

The Medical Appointment:

The patient is an active partner in their health care.  Advice for achieving the best benefit from a medical appointment includes:

  • Let your Provider know if you need any special accommodations, or need additional appointment time for your visit.
  • Bring a list of questions or concerns.
  • Ask specialist Providers to send reports to your primary care doctor.
  • Bring a list of any medicines, vitamins, or remedies you use.
  • Ask for educational material on your conditions.
  • Ask for referrals to support or educational groups.
  • Ask when you are to return for your next visit.
  • Provide feedback to your doctor about your visit.
  • Update your provider about any care you have received outside of the NHOH Medical Home Port team.
