Behavioral Health Psychiatry is a referral book only clinic, please see your PCM if requesting psychiatry.

Scope of Care:
 

Behavioral Health is an outpatient service within the Naval Hospital. We serve active duty personnel, adult family members, and retirees.  Family members and retirees can self-refer to see a social worker or self refer out to town to see a psychiatrist.  Child services are available 8 years old and up . 

We offer a broad range of counseling and psychiatric services:
Psychiatry
Medication Management of all disorders
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
Adult/Individual Therapy
(Marriage counseling, anger management, and social services are offered by the Fleet and Family support center)

Group:
We offer a variety of groups to meet the needs of anyone feeling overwhelmed or stressed.  Call the Clinic for more information. 

  • Sexual Assault PTSD Group: Every Monday 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
  • Deployment PTSD Group: Every Tuesday 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.  
  • Meditation Group: Every Wednesday 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. 
  • Women's Group: Every Wednesday 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
  • Men's Group: Every Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.  
  • Problem Solving Group: First Friday of the Month 13:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.  

Patients are required to see a Behavioral Health Provider before attending group therapy.
