Ambulatory Infusion Center

The Ambulatory Infusion Center (AIC) is a six room, 24 chair nurse-driven clinic which delivers outpatient infusion services to Tricare-eligible adult populations (ages 18 and older) referred from primary care providers at NMCP clinics.

We strive to provide quality, compassionate, and safe patient care and promote excellence in staff and patient education to patients requiring intravenous infusion therapy deliverable on an outpatient basis. Infusions may include blood products, chemotherapy, biotherapy, antibiotics, iron, IVIG, hydration, lidocaine, and a variety of infusible medications which do not require inpatient admission and can be administered within clinic hours.

The AIC provides central line management, medication education, and other subspecialty services to other NMCP areas on a consultant basis.
