Our Mission - Here at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth’s MWR; our mission is to provide active duty, reserve, and retired Navy personnel and their families with excellent customer service, quality support and recreational services. We do this with sports and physical activities, child development and youth programs, leisure and outdoor recreational opportunities and a variety of food and beverage services. All of these contribute to the retention, readiness, mental, physical, and emotional well being of our sailors!
