DESTRUCTIVE WEATHER/WINTER STORM CLOSING/DELAYED REPORTING INFORMATION
Every NMCP employee should know their designated category of ALPHA or BRAVO. If in doubt, employees should check with their supervisor. When there is destructive weather/winter storm pending, all personnel are expected to listen to the radio or television for the list of naval activities that are closing or delaying reporting times. Personnel of Naval Medical Center Portsmouth and the Branch Medical Clinics should follow the closing policies of the Commanding Officer of NAVAL MEDICAL CENTER PORTSMOUTH.
Note: Please be aware that TV/Radio Stations only publish closings/delays. Many do not accept "business as usual" announcements. If your installation does not show a closing or delay reporting, you are expected to report to work as scheduled.
