EAT: Buffalo Chicken Sliders


Need a quick game-day crowd pleaser that won’t have you in the kitchen for hours? Try these easy slow cooker Buffalo Chicken Sliders!

Makes 8–10 Servings

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 sweet onion
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 cups of blue cheese
  • 1 bottle of buffalo wing sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 packages of sweet rolls

Directions:

  • 1. Chop the onion and red bell pepper into small squares.
  • 2. Dice the garlic cloves.
  • 3. Add the chicken, onion, red bell pepper, garlic, wing sauce, and butter in a slow cooker.
  • 4. Cook on low for four hours.
  • 5. Stir occasionally, until you can shred the chicken with a fork.
  • 6. Dice the celery and carrots, set aside.
  • 7. Serve the chicken on top of sweet rolls with blue cheese crumbles, diced celery and carrots.
