EAT: Healthy Personal Pizza


Holidays are busy which makes it difficult to eat wholesome and healthy meals. A healthy holiday dinner doesn’t mean you have to slave in the kitchen for hours. This easy recipe is ready in less than ten minutes!

Healthy Personal Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole-wheat pita
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup grilled chicken breast
  • 1/4 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon oregano

Directions:

  • 1. Toast whole-wheat pita in oven at 365 degrees for 10 minutes.
  • 2. Remove pita from oven and top with ingredients.
  • 3. Sprinkle with minced garlic and oregano.
  • 4. Place under oven broiler until the cheese is bubbly!

Voila – it’s done!
