MOVE: Have you tried a Cycling class yet? Now is the time!

Indoor or outdoor group cycling classes can be a terrific way to get your heart rate up, build endurance, and tone your lower body. Cycling classes provide high-intensity interval training (HIIT) with low-impact on your joints. Since you are the one peddling and managing the resistance, these classes can be adjusted to your fitness level!

Did we mention cycling is fun? You have the energy of the whole class peddling together, and they are often set to upbeat music. These high-energy classes can help you get out of your head, and into your body.

There are a number of cycling classes offered at NMCSD, Point Loma, Coronado and Miramar. Check out the schedules below and give it a spin!

Remember the three try rule with any new fitness activity! The first class can be difficult, but many people are hooked after their third!
