SAN DIEGO (Jan. 2, 2013) - Naval Medical Center San Diego's (NMCSD) first baby of 2013, Briar Rhodes, son to Logistics Specialist 2nd Class Jasmine Santee and her husband retired Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Robert Rhodes, sleeps soundly in his newborn crib as his mother admires him. Briar was born at 12:12 a.m. Jan. 1, 2013 weighing 7 pounds, 15 ounces and 21 inches in length. NMCSD delivered eight babies on New Year's Day. SAN DIEGO - Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) commemorated the first day of the New Year by welcoming the first baby born in 2013.

 

Proud parents Logistics Specialist 2nd Class Jasmine Santee and her husband retired Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Robert Rhodes welcomed Briar Rhodes born at 12:12 a.m. weighing 7 pounds, 15 ounces and 21 inches in length. Jasmine is stationed at Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) Southwest on Naval Air Station North Island and both parents are California natives.

 

Baby and mother are doing fine. Baby Briar is the couple’s second child they also have a 2-year-old son Jayden.
