Welcome Message

Naval Medical Center San Diego’s Project C.A.R.E. Team (Comprehensive Advanced Restorative Effort) cordially invites you to our 2018 C.A.R.E. Education and Training Summit to be held from September 19 – 21, 2018 at NMCSD.

As the DoD’s only multidisciplinary Restorative Care Program, C.A.R.E. works hand in hand with NMCSD’s C5 Rehabilitation Center to deliver state of the art medical and surgical treatments for traumatically disfigured Service Members and their families. Our commitment to training, education, and research creates the foundation of our annual training events, with a focus on delayed reconstructive measures for our wounded warriors and active duty personnel.

This year’s Summit, our 7th such event, will focus on craniofacial, abdominal wall and genitourinary reconstruction. We look forward to your arrival and thank you for your unwavering support of America’s Wounded Warriors through collaborative clinical, academic and research Professional Partnerships.
