Graduate Medical Education (GME) - Clerkships

Clinical Clerkships

HPSP,
HSCP:

Clinical clerkships are available at the Naval Medical Center, San Diego to Navy HPSP and Navy HSCP students. Clerkship requests are only accepted via email by sending the application to the Graduate Medical Education Clerkship Office on a first-come, first-serve basis, depending on availability. Most clerkships require you to be here for four full weeks. Inquire within if you are requesting a rotation for less than that. Requests for one week rotations are not accepted.

HSCP students and HPSP students requesting Non-AT clerkships, require a Master Affiliation Agreement to be established in order to participate. These requests must be for 4 weeks. Inquire within for further information on these types of requests. At least 4 - 6 months advanced notice needed in order to fully process.

*** HPSP and HSCP student applications for June - October 2018 rotations will be accepted starting December 01, 2017, 12 A.M. Pacific Standard Time. Students are limited to one rotation between June - October.
