No more waiting on-hold for appointments or medication refills.  Get what you need, when you need it, with NMCSD Online. 

 

 

 

NMCSD Online (powered by Relay Health™) is an online secure messaging portal that has been purchased for Navy Medicine to communicate with service members and families who are enrolled to NMCSD for their care. This service is used to inform you of health needs for Individual Medical Readiness and Preventive Health Maintenance.

 

The next step in order to begin utilizing this service will be to accept enrollment. After requesting it you will receive and email from NMCSD Online (powered by Relay Health™) with a link to activate enrollment. Please note not all aspects of this program were purchased for utilization by DoD and Naval Medical Center San Diego. Although there are areas to provide health data for your own personal health records management,  this information will not be used by your providers for health maintenance. Providers will use NMCSD's online electronic medical records (Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application, or AHLTA) for healthcare decisions.

 

Since this is a pre-bundled commercial program there is an area that asks for billing information ***THIS DOES NOT PERTAIN TO MILITARY PERSONNEL*** no credit card information is needed and there are no fees or billing associated with this service.

 

Some items that may be of interest to you:

  • You will now have the ability to email your primary care provider and discuss issues over secure message instead of having to leave your home or workspace and come into the clinic.
  • You will be able to request refills on medications without seeing your primary care provider.
  • You will be able to email a request for appointments.
  • You will be able to request lab results without coming into the clinic.
