The Naval Branch Health Clinic, NSA Panama is a TRICARE Prime enrollment site.  The TRICARE Service Center (TSC), which are staffed by beneficiary service representatives who can explain the different TRICARE options and help you choose the plan that suits you best. The TSC can also provide:
  • TRICARE benefits interpretation
  • TRICARE Prime enrollment
  • Primary care manager selection and changes
  • Assistance with referrals and appointments to military treatment facilities (MTFs)
  • Claims status and claims resolution and assistance
  • Eligibility status
  • A list of TRICARE network providers and pharmacies
  • Appeals and fraud information
A TRICARE service representative is available at the Naval Branch Health Clinic Panama City the first and third Wednesday of every month from 1230-1430.
If you receive a referral to a specialist, you should receive a letter within 7-10 business days to schedule an appointment.  DO NOT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT PRIOR TO GETTING AUTHORIZATION.  If you are not notified in 7-10 business days, please follow these steps:  For network referrals, contact Humana TRICARE at 1-800-444-5445.  If are unable to get the assistance you need, please call 850-636-9400 and leave a telephone message for your provider or email your Team via Relay Health.
