SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA - 130830-N-TQ272-578 (Aug. 30, 2013) Kaneohe, Hawaii – A Sailor from Beachmaster Unit (BMU) 1, directs a Humvee off Landing Craft Utility (LCU) 1648, launched from the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49), . USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49) is currently underway for a regularly scheduled deployment as part of the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group (BOXARG), comprised of USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49), the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4), the amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans (LPD 18), and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU).
