U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Jeff Kaudze, a hospital corpsman with shock trauma platoon, Combat Logistics Detachment 34, attached to Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Central Command, sprints to the scene of a notionally wounded service member during a casualty evacuation exercise in southwest Asia Feb. 12, 2019. The Marines of India Company, 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, also attached to SPMAGTF-CR-CC, joined Sailors with CLD-34, and U.S. Soldiers assigned to Charlie Company, 3rd Battalion, 126th Aviation Regiment, to practice a realistic scenario in which all three services contributed specialized life-saving skills on simulated casualties that were notionally transported to a higher echelon of care.
