OKINAWA, Japan - OKINAWA, Japan (Aug. 6, 2021) U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Peter Daniel, middle, an independent duty corpsman with 3rd Marine Logistics Group (MLG), teaches basic provider skills to corpsmen during a Corpsman Critical Exchange Program (CCEP) on Camp Hansen, Japan. The purpose of the CCEP is to enhance basic corpsman abilities in order to perform provider related tasks. 3rd MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward-deployed combat unit that serves as III Marine Expeditionary Force’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
