Cameron Mathie, from Chalfont, Pennsylvania, right, assists patients with medical personnel at the National Referral Hospital in Honiara during Pacific Partnership 2022. It was during his deployment as part of the mission that Mathie was informed he had been selected as the next chief nursing officer for the Marine Corps' 3d Medical Battalion

Now in its 17th year, Pacific Partnership is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Pacific. Pacific Partnership is a unifying mission that fosters enduring friendships and cooperation among many nations.
