Bremerton, Wa - preparing to make it stick...with the annual influenza vaccination required for all active duty military personnel, selected Reservists and healthcare workers. Naval Hospital Bremerton is providing for all those in need, as well as offering the new COVID bivalent booster. There will be an annual shot exercise (SHOTEX) - for the mass influenza vaccination and COVID booster dose - held at Naval Base Kitsap Bangor Olympic Lanes bowling center [adjacent to the base recreational complex/fitness center], October 16-22, 2022, Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The COVID bivalent booster is not a required vaccine, but is recommended by the Centers for Disease and Prevention (Official Navy photo by Douglas H Stutz, NHB/NMRTC Bremerton public affairs officer).
