Nurses and corpsmen from Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton participate in the annual skills-a-thon event held on the hospital’s multi-service ward during the week of May 20, 2024. The 12-station event included topics such as blood transfusion, restraints, crash cart, de-escalation, blood cultures, and airway management and was mandatory training for all active duty and civilian nurses as well as all active-duty corpsmen working on the inpatient wards or the emergency department. When the final session ended, a total of 182 participants had completed the training.
