Education Planning Integration provides central management and oversight for Total Force education and training in non-Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs, warfighter optimization initiatives, platform support, professional competency, and organization compliance and development.  In coordination with Regional Training Offices at Naval Medical Forces Pacific (NMFP) and Atlantic (NMFA), we provide direct guidance and support in the development, implementation, sustainment and management of online and in-resident training initiatives within the local readiness training departments pertaining to professional and personal development, operational readiness, and service requirements.  Specific training programs include a variety of learning management systems and databases (FLTMPS, NeL, JKO, Relias , DMHRSi), resuscitative medicine (Military Training Network, Tactical Combat Casualty Care), command orientation and staff competency, training record management, training needs assessments, blended learning solutions (to include simulation support) and leadership and career enhancement.

People 

Provide structure support and information management within designated learning management systems and online databases to advertise professional and personal development opportunities available to military and civilian Navy Medicine personnel. 
Advise local Readiness Training Departments on identifying training needs and establishing command training plans to support education and training solutions.  Training programs of interest include Resuscitative Medicine (MTN, EMT, TCCC), Hospital Corpsmen Competency (HM/BDA PQS and HMSB) and Continuing Education support (CME and CNE).   

Platforms

Liaise with Operational Readiness planners (POMI) and manpower subject-matter experts to leverage learning management and data systems for operational training requirements.

Performance/Power

Explore opportunities for blended/distance learning solution adaptation to optimize information availability and communication across a variety of training environments.
Advisor to BUMED N7 on Education and Training Strategy and Policy Development
Coordinate with regional and local training managers and leaders to maximize resource allocation and execution that effectively supports the training mission and serves the warfighters needs.
