E Komo Mai (Welcome) to Naval Health Clinic Hawaii (NHCH) where your health​ and readiness are our focus

NHCH is comprised of two large clinics, Makalapa at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH) and Kaneohe Bay (K-Bay) at Marine Corps Base Hawaii. Other smaller clinics are located at Camp H.M. Smith, Wahiawa, and Barking Sands on the island of Kauai. Of note, the headquarters for NHCH is not co-located with the clinics, but resides in Bldg 1750 at 480 Central Avenue adjacent to the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. Preventive Medicine, Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Health Services are provided at this site, which is also known as the Shipyard Clinic.

**ePHA Guidance

ePHA Walk-ins:

Makalapa: Tuesday beginning at 1300; Friday beginning at 0700

K-Bay: Friday beginning at 0700


For patient's to utilize the PHA walk-in services, they must have received email confirmation that their PHAs have already been reviewed. For safety, patients are advised not arrive any earlier than 0630.


To reduce the PHA surge during PRT season, we recommend all service memberscomplete their PHA in their birthmonth.

Tobacco-Free Living and the new Hawaii State Law
In Hawaii, the minimum age to purchase, possess, or consume a tobacco product is 21 years of age.  It is also illegal to sell or furnish a tobacco product in any shape or form to anyone under 21.

Tobacco cessation is a priority of the Department of the Navy, critical to the health, fitness, wellbeing, and readiness of Navy-Marine Corps personnel.  The Health Promotion Department offers tobacco cessation programs to all eligible beneficiaries.
