CAPT Kristie Robson

United States Navy

CAPT Robson is a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Philosophy from Bucknell University, her Master’s in Business Administration from Spear’s School of Business, her Master’s in Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction from Missouri State University, and her Medical Degree from Thomas Jefferson University.
CAPT Robson earned her commission via the Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program. Robson earned her commission via the Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program.  She completed a Surgical Internship and, subsequently, her Emergency Medicine Residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego.  She has held leadership positions as Senior Medical Officer for COMSTRATCOM Wing One, Department Head of the Emergency Department at NH Okinawa, Department Head of Clinical Programs at BUMED, Department Head of the Emergency Medicine Department at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, and Director of Medical Services at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton.  Operationally, Commander Robson is a qualified Fleet Marine Force medical officer and Naval Flight Surgeon.  She has served in both Iraq and Afghanistan at Forward Operating Bases and on the Mobile Trauma Bay and deployed as the Officer in Charge of the Shock Trauma Platoon supporting missions in Iraq, Kuwait, and Jordan.  She helped found and completed the Navy’s first Fellowship in Global Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Response at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth.  Her military medical duties have taken her to Germany, Brunei, Japan, Ghana, Nigeria, Jamaica, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Colombia, and Peru.  She was selected as the only physician in DoD sponsored Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction fellowship program and graduated with distinction in 2014.
Her personal awards include two Meritorious Achievement medal, four Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medals and three Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, as well as various unit and campaign awards.  She is currently serving as the Executive Officer of Naval Health Clinic Quantico.
