Acute Care

Description of Services:

The Military Acute Care Department (MACD) IS NOT an Emergency Room, but does provide limited services for acute situations.

The focus of the department is to care for active-duty personnel who are NOT currently assigned to a Primary Care Manager, such as who are operational, TAD, student, etc. Appointments are not required.

Patients who present with injury, illness or emergent conditions beyond the capabilities of the MACD will be stabilized and referred or transported to an appropriate facility.
