The Pain Medicine Center at Naval Medical Center San Diego offers state-of-the-art and comprehensive treatment acute and chronic pain through a holistic and integrative approach for active duty members of the military.

The Pain Medicine Center consists of the Pain Medicine Clinic, 32nd Street Pain Clinic (Functional Restoration Pain Program), and Research Division. The Center also supports the Pain Medicine Fellowship program.

Pain Medicine is a comprehensive specialty treating localized and whole-body pain conditions for a multitude of conditions utilizing education, behavioral health, physical therapy, medications, and interventional procedures.

We utilize the Pain Clinic at Balboa for a majority of patient encounters and procedures while the 32nd Street Pain Clinic is home to behavioral health and physical therapy in their support of a multi-faceted approach to pain treatment.
