We begin this with our Command Sponsorship Program and by assisting a staff member within our command as your personal sponsor.
Please do not hesitate to let us know if there is anything that we can do to make your transistion easier. We are committed to continuously improving our programs ans ways to meet the needs of our staff.
Command Sponsorship Coordinator - Our Command Sponsorship Program Coordinator is HM1 (FMF/AW) De'Andre Martin. Email at email@example.com or contact via phone at (301) 319-4762.
The OMBUDSMAN is a volunteer spouse of an active duty or reserve member, and is appointed by the Commanding Officer to serve as the official liaison between the command and families (**There is criteria and steps to be taken that would allow an active duty, former active duty, civilian or spouses of civilian members to serve as OMBUDSMAN**). The OMBUNDSMAN's major role is a bridge between the command, its family members and the resources of the community. They act as a two-way communicator, a referral agent, and interpersonal helper for family members. The OMBUDSMAN assists the CO in maintaining the morale and welfare of the command's active duty service staff members and their families.
