NPDS Continuing Education for FY 2021
Course Format
Due to restrictions imposed by the COVID pandemic response, and an abundance of caution, all courses offered in FY 2021 will be presented in a VIRTUAL FORMAT ONLY using online conferencing software.  DO NOT travel to Bethesda.
Enrollment Eligibility
Courses are open to dental officers of the Uniformed Services and civilian dentists employed by federal agencies.  Enrollment for dentists not employed by a federal agency is extremely limited and will only be considered on a space-available basis.  Most courses have specific enrollment restrictions and/or quota limitations (see individual course descriptions in the annual course listing).
Enrollment Procedures
To enroll in a course, complete and submit the Virtual Continuing Dental Education Enrollment Application. (See link below.)  Do not use older versions as the information required is different.  Applications must be submitted via e-mail.  Applications will not be accepted over the phone.  Applicants are limited to two courses per fiscal year.
Enrollment opens on 15 August 2020.  The priority for course enrollment is:
·         Navy dentists (active, reserve, GS, & contractor)
·         Other Armed Forces dentists (active, reserve, GS, & contractor)
·         Other federal agency dentists
·         Retired dentists from the above categories
·         Non-federal civilian dentists
Enrollment Cancellation:
If you find you must cancel an enrollment request, please notify the Continuing Education Office to give the opportunity to waiting applicants. Thank you!
