Directly support the Comprehensive Dentistry (Comp) residents both clinically and academically.
All pediatric patients of age 10 and younger or medically compromised patients older than 10 years will receive a screening dental appointment. Based upon this evaluation, the patient may be chosen as a teaching case for the Comp residents. The Comp residents have their clinical experience in Pediatric Dentistry during their second year, while the first year Comp residents receive didactic/laboratory information.
