General Surgery
The General Surgery Department handles a wide variety of surgical concerns, problems and procedures. Our outstanding team includes General Surgeons, a Certified Wound Care Nurse, a Certified Women’s Breast Health Specialist, Nurses, Hospital Corpsmen, Medical Assistants and support staff.
Location: First floor of the northwest hallway of the main hospital building.
Hours of operation: Monday through Friday from 0745-1600.

Eligibility:  Full access to all beneficiaries 
Consults Required: The General Surgery staff will contact patients upon receipt of a referral for initiation of care and to schedule an appointment.
Medical Records: All Active Duty patients must bring their health records. Patients who have been referred from, or followed by, a civilian provider should bring those medical records along with including any radiographic studies.
Patients should arrive 15 minutes early for scheduled appointments. 
Please bring a completed, and up-to-date, list of all medications, including herbals and over-the-counter medications. Feel free to bring your actual pill bottles.
General Surgery supports family-centered care
We also encourage patients to bring a trusted family member or friend with them to their appointments to help them ask questions and understand answers from their providers.
