The Office of the NMFSC Registrar exists to support the Navy Medicine Community by providing information and services to include Primary Source Verification of education and training.  The Office of the Navy Medicine Registrar maintains Navy Medicine Enlisted training for all non-METC related courses taught at the Naval School of Health Sciences (closed 2010).  Closed Navy Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs for the Naval Hospitals Oakland, Charleston, Bremerton and Pensacola are held in the Registrar’s office.  The Registrar is the sole primary verification source for these records.  The NMFSC Registrar’s office also holds the records and is the primary verification source for The Navy Nurse Anesthesia Certification Program (NNACP) through 2010.

Training Verification / Transcripts

In the event the NMETLC Registrar’s Office cannot verify training via the databases, training can be verified through the member’s Official DD214.
  • Request your Official DD 214 [external link]
  • Request your Official Joint Services Transcript [external link
  • If you graduated from The Medical Education and Training Campus (METC) in San Antonio TX, please contact the METC directly [external link
  • E-mail requests for training verification are the preferred method of request for this office.  There is no fee for this service. See contact information below.

American Council on Education (ACE)

ACE presents credit recommendations for formal courses and occupations offered by most branches of the military.  These credit recommendations appear on the service member’s Joint Services Transcript.  ACE Course and Occupational Exhibits containing learning outcomes, related competencies and the ACE college credit recommendations are a comprehensive and robust tool that can be used by colleges and universities for the transfer of credits for military training.  All recommendations are based on ACE course reviews conducted by college and university faculty members who are actively teaching in the areas they review.

All Graduate Medical Education completed at closed Naval hospitals (Naval Hospitals Oakland, Charleston, Bremerton and Pensacola) can be verified by the NMFSC Registrar’s Office.
