2020 Military Tropical Medicine Course-VIRTUAL
ATTENTION: Due to COVID-19, the 2020 Military Tropical Medicine Course format has changed our format.  There will no longer be an in-person component for the laboratory portion.  The entire 2020 course will be virtual this year.
Due to course being online, we are therefore able to continue accepting applicants.  If Navy, please contact HM1 Young at    If Air Force or Army, please contact service representative below and HM1 Young for applications (for roster inclusion).
-The SAKAI recordings will be available starting July 6th
-This course will have weekly 3 quizzes (1st quiz will be available 13 July).  Course is self-paced, so we can adjust quiz times.  Final examination will be available in August..
--Please note schedule change from prior email which had a different end date.  Course has been shorted to not extend to the following week.
-Attendees of the course are not required to complete it in July.  Since this is now distance learning, there will be flexibility with an end date for all requirements of 31 March 2021.  We highly recommend dedicating time as the quizzes and final examination are based on large volumes of information.
Fundamentals of Global Health Engagement.  This fantastic course is an independent course offered from the USUHS Department of Global Health Engagement which was embedded in the MTM course.   Since this is an independent certificate course, we have made this an optional adjunct to MTM and not a requirement.  Also, this is not required for those who have already completed the course.  At this time, both the June and July virtual courses are at capacity.  The next iteration of the course is: Sep 14 -23 at 1 pm (virtual)
Continuing Medical Education and Continuing Nursing Education (CME/CNE)-[] There are 106.5 CME/CNE credits for this year’s course (2020-0714 “2020 VTC Military Tropical Medicine-MTM Didactic Course USU Interprofessional”

-Please do not apply for official passport, VISA or do the DTS orders for the international field portion until actual dates are confirmed.
