Congratulations on your orders to the largest and finest Optical Fabrication Enterprise (OFE) laboratory in the United States armed forces, Naval Ophthalmic Support and Training Activity (NOSTRA).

When NOSTRA receives confirmation of your assignment to us, we will forward you a "Welcome Aboard" package, which will include a letter from the Commanding Officer and your assigned sponsor.  The package will also include information from the Fleet and Family Services Center and material about the local area. For reporting Navy staff, if you have not received a welcome aboard package, or if you would like to contact the Command Sponsor Coordinator, click here to send them an email.
 
When you arrive in the Hampton Roads area, contact your sponsor. If you need transportation from the airport to NOSTRA, call your sponsor or the Command Duty Officer at 757-870-4672 and transportation will be arranged for you. Upon arrival, report to the Admin Department or if arriving after working hours, report the next duty day to have your orders endorsed.
