Naval Medical Forces Support Command (NMFSC) is the headquarters element designated within the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) as a direct subordinate to the Surgeon General of the Navy charged with leading and managing all medical training, education, professional development, and instruction for the production of highly trained and ready medical personnel. NMFSC’s subordinate elements are: Naval Medical Leader and Professional Development Command (NMLPDC), Navy Medicine Operational Training Command (NMOTC), Navy Medicine Training Support Center (NMTSC), and the Navy Reserve-NMFSC (NR-NMFSC). Each subordinate element is tasked to provide a specific aspect in the lifecycle of all Naval Medicine Sailors and each provides top-notch training and support to Naval Medicine personnel throughout their Navy career ensuring quality healthcare and services to Navy (and other Services) service members, their families, and retirees.

COE is the institutional accrediting body for the NMFSC Area Of Responsibility and is available for students and staff who have submitted issues through normal grievance channels but feel that their  grievance is still unresolved.
