All of the documents in this collection are listed in numerical order. The gray navigation bar can be used to access each collection. With an exception of “Sample Formats”, the documents in these collections are in portable document format (PDF). To use PDF files, Adobe Reader is required. The “BUMED HQ” collection lists headquarter-related documents.
The “BUMED” collection lists all enterprise-wide documents.
The “All Pubs/Manuals” collection lists manuals and publications. The “MANMED” collection includes the contents of the Manual of the Medical Department by chapter.
The “BUMED Forms” and “NAVMED Forms” collections list BUMED and NAVMED forms available in the PDF format. The “Other Forms” collection lists other PDF forms available for Navy Medicine use.
Effective July 2010, the Navy has required the disabling of JavaScript within the Adobe programs. In order to view Javascript Forms on the Navy Medicine website, users can enable JavaScript for "known" and "official" PDF documents by clicking the "Options" button in the yellow banner area that will appear on the site. Once the actions above are taken, the document should function exactly as designed. Any problems should be reported to the local helpdesk/IT staff, as appropriate.
The “Sample Format” collection lists many sample documents referenced in BUMED instructions. These files are in MS Word format.
The “Cancellation” collection lists items that have been cancelled. The links are to the cancellation, not to the cancelled document.
These collections include NAVMED forms and publications that have been digitized. However, these collections contain only a small number of the active forms and publications. Additional forms and publications are available from the Web sites listed on the "Related Links" collection or by contacting the office listed below.
