Cynthia Kuehner, commander of Naval Medical Forces Support Command (NMFSC) presents Laura Martinez, NMFSC N7 Education and Training Directorate with the Superior Civilian Service Award signed by the Navy Surgeon General. Martinez was the first African Amercan to serve as Force Master Chief and Director of the Medical Corps, and only the second female to hold the prestigous office.
