VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (October 24-27, 2023) Sailors assigned to Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron TWO (MSRON TWO) participate in a blood typing and blood donation event conducted in coordination with Naval Medical Readiness Training Center (NMRTC) Portsmouth.  The MSRON TWO Medical Department conducted this event to establish a command Walking Blood Bank, which enables the squadron the capability to perform autologous blood transfusions in the event of trauma in deployed environments across the globe.  Over 115 blood donations were collected and tested, giving the Armed Services Blood Program units of blood that can be used to save lives worldwide.
