Cherry Point Community Celebrates 132nd Chief Petty Officer Birthday

The Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point community gathered Tuesday, April 1, 2025 to celebrate the 132nd birthday of the Chief Petty Officer’s Birthday.

The celebration took place aboard Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point and included a cake cutting ceremony as well as the recitation of the Chief Petty Officer’s Creed.

Navy Captain James J. Driscoll, the commanding officer of the clinic, expressed his gratitude for serving alongside the facility’s Chiefs’ Mess. He thanked them for their expertise in leading enlisted Sailors and mentoring officers.
