Navy Biochemists & Toxicologists provide warfighter and readiness support in the following areas:
  • Drug Deterrence & Testing: Support and manage drug testing operations and medical examiner forensic toxicology investigations.
  • Operational Support: Provide specialized public health support to operational forces including CBRNE defense and medical countermeasures.
  • Operationally-Relevant Research: Conduct and manage basic and applied research in environmental health effects, combat casualty care, biological defense, ionizing radiation and biotechnology.
  • Training & Mentoring: Serve as Assistant Professors in the Department of Chemistry at the United States Naval Academy.
