Financial Management Officers is a specialization within Healthcare Administration and are proven experts in financial management, analytics, acquisition, civilian personnel management and logistics enabling them to provide "total" resource services and value to Navy Medicines’ Readiness Mission.

Financial Management Officers are critical Special Advisors to Commanding Officers and make recommendations that optimally balance the command’s mission with available resources. Comptrollers are dual-hatted as the Director for Resource Management and in that role are tasked with gathering, analyzing, managing, reporting, and communicating the operation's impact to stakeholders.
