Medical Logisticians conduct life cycle logistics of Class VIII (medical) products and services required to support the Military Healthcare System and the warfighter.

Medical Logisticians are committed to ensuring that the right material, contracted services, and equipment are in the right place at the right time to deliver world-class health care to Sailors, Marines, and their families worldwide.

WHO WE SERVE

Medical Logisticians hold key administrative and leadership positions within various Medical Treatment Facilities (MTF), the Fleet Marine Force (USMC), Hospital Ships, Expeditionary Medical Facilities (EMF), Staff Commands, and a variety of naval activities worldwide.

Defense Logistics Agency Distribution San Diego, California, makes daily medical supply truck deliveries to the USNS Mercy, staged in the Los Angeles Port of San Pedro, where sailors provide operational medicine support to help with the COVID-19 outbreak.
