CMDC Aaron A. Paul

BIOGRAPHY

Command Master Chief Aaron Paul, a New York native raised in New Orleans, enlisted in the Navy in August 2000. After completing boot camp at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, he began his career aboard USS Enterprise (CVN-65) as a member of Air Department, V-4 Division. Following his first deployment, he selected the rate of Operations Specialist, advancing to Second Class and earning his Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist qualification.
 
In 2006, reported to Syracuse Military Entrance Processing Station as an In-Processing Clerk and ASVAB Testing Coordinator. In 2009, he reported to USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70), homeported in Norfolk, VA and San Diego, CA, serving as an Air Intercept Controller and Combat Direction Watch Officer during operations Haiti Relief and Malabar Naval Exercise. He earned his Aviation Warfare Specialist qualification and was promoted to First Class Petty Officer.
 
From 2013, he served at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, training recruits and prospective RDCs while earning his Master Training Specialist qualification and promotion to Chief Petty Officer. In 2017, he joined USS McCampbell (DDG-85) in Yokosuka, Japan, leading as Operations Department Leading Chief Petty Officer and serving as Command Equal Opportunity Specialist, earning promotion to Senior Chief Petty Officer.
 
In 2020, Master Chief Paul served at Navy Wounded Warrior, Naval District Washington, assisting injured service members and their families. He later held leadership roles as Command Master Chief at Air Test and Evaluation Squadron Two Zero (VX-20) and Naval Test Wing Atlantic, Patuxent River, MD . In June 2024, he reported as Command Master Chief of Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command, Bethesda, MD.
 
Master Chief Paul is married to Amanda Paul and they have three children: Arianna, Aidan, and Alisa. His awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and various unit and campaign awards. He is a graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy, Class 241 Orange.
