AUGUSTA BAY, Italy - AUGUSTA BAY, Italy (Aug. 8, 2022) Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Jacob Jeffreys simulates a routine medical checkup on a sailor aboard the Freedom-class littoral combat ship USS Sioux City (LCS 11) while pierside. Sioux City is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. Naval Forces Europe area of operations, employed by U.S. Sixth Fleet, to defend U.S., allied, and partner interests.
