Operational Forces Medical Liaison Services (OFMLS) and Medical Transition Company (MTC)


The primary responsibility of Operational Forces Medical Liaison Services (OFMLS) is to ensure the health, well-being, and readiness of the Operational Forces. Communication and cooperation are essential amongst Naval Medical Readiness & Training Command Jacksonville FL (formerly known as Naval Hospital Jacksonville FL)  OFMLS/MTC personnel, NAVMED R&T CMD staff, representative personnel at each Naval Medical Readiness & Training Unit (formerly known as Naval Branch Medical Clinic) and Branch Health Clinic Jacksonville FL, and operational and tenant commands. NHJAX policy is to provide medical support to operational and tenant commands consistent with their operational commitments by maintaining an organized OFMLS Program.

 The NAVMED R&T CMD JAX OFMLS Program Manager is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week via email at usn.jacksonville.nmrtc-jax.list.fleet-liaison@health.mil or via Command Phone: (904) 314-9235 for OFMLS related issues. Routine business hours for the OFMLS are conducted, Monday through Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., excluding federal holidays.
