Comptroller (N8)

The Resource Management Directorate advises the Commander, Chief of Staff (COS), NMFSC staff and Echelon IV Commanding Officers on all matters pertinent to management, disbursement, and allocation of funds.  Ensures effective financial management throughout the region in the areas of budget, civilian pay, travel, accounting and audit readiness.  Maintains financial control, jurisdiction, and statutory responsibility subject to 31 U.S. Code, Section 1517 and 1301(a), DoD, Navy and BUMED regulations for all appropriations issued to the command.  Provides budget and financial policy/guidance and ensures compliance.
