Welcome Aboard

Congratulations on your orders and welcome to Naval Medical Forces Development Command (NMFDC).  NMFDC is an Echelon III level command under the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED).  We deliver professional, occupational and operational education and training to support the Navy Medicine mission.
 

Command Sponsorship Program
Upon receipt of your orders to NMFDC, a Welcome Aboard package will be sent to you. Please complete the sponsor questionnaire located on NSIPS.  Once you have logged into NSIPS, click on the “Update Personal Information” option, then select Gain Questionnaire. This will help assess your needs, and allow us to provide the best possible support in preparing for your arrival.

Reporting Aboard
All personnel need to report during normal duty hours (0730-1630), with your orders and records to the Administrative Department located in Building 1001 in the Uniform of the Day.  If arriving after duty hours or on the weekend, please report the first thing the next duty day.
